Introduction
The guide below walks users through downloading and installing Microsoft 365 on a personal computer. Microsoft Office 365 is available to all students, faculty, and staff members at CSULB. After termination of their employment, staff will lose access to their CSULB email address and Microsoft 365 Apps. Students and faculty have access to their account and apps for 13-months after campus departure.
How to Download and Install Microsoft 365

2. If prompted, click 'Sign In' under your CSULB email address
3. Click 'Apps' in the left pane menu.

4. In the top right corner, click 'Install Apps' then select 'Microsoft 365 Apps'. Let Microsoft 365 download to your device

5. Run the installation packaged found in your Downloads folder
6. Once installation is complete, open any Microsoft application (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, etc.)
7. Sign in using your CSULB credentials.
8. Your Microsoft 365 license is activated and ready for use.
