Step by Step Onboarding for Android

ATTENTION: The following Step by Step instructions are intended only to show some of the expected screenshots and steps done under certain conditions.  Certain steps may be out of date or reference features no longer available.  Feel free to leave Feedback.  Please use the SecureW2 link to automatically configure instead.

Instructions

  1. The SecureW2 instructions below can be used from any Internet connection.  On campus, temporarily connect to the BeachGuests network using the Passkey found by accessing https://csulb.edu/wifi.
  2. Click on the SecureW2 link ​​​.
  3. Tap on “Download”. red box highlighting download button   
  4. Install the SecureW2 JoinNow application. red highlighted box around install button
  5. Once installed, tap “Open”. red highlighted box around open button
  6. Tap on “Next” to move on. launching page
  7. Present your CSULB SSO credentials and confirm your MFA or enter the PIN. CSULB single sign on pagepassword for single sign on 
  8. Tap “Continue” to begin certificate enrollment.  red highlighted box around continue button
  9. (Note: If at this point you experience trouble with JoinNow by not being taken to Step 11 below, you can use the following instructions to manually configure your Android device for eduroam. And, we would really like to hear from you! Please provide feedback to this article if you would like to be contacted to troubleshoot the issues in detail.  Otherwise, please proceed to Step 11.) 
  10. Tap “Next”. asking to save wi-fi network to phone

  12. Tap “Go to WiFi Settings” to confirm connection to eduroam. device now configured page
