Step by Step Onboarding for Windows Devices

ATTENTION: The following Step by Step instructions are intended only to show some of the expected screenshots and steps done under certain conditions.  Certain steps may be out of date or reference features no longer available.  Feel free to leave Feedback.  Please use the SecureW2 link to automatically configure instead.

These instructions were documented using a Windows 11 device.

Instructions

  1. The SecureW2 instructions below can be used from any Internet connection.  On campus, temporarily connect to the BeachGuests network using the Passkey found by accessing https://csulb.edu/wifi.
  2. Click on the SecureW2 link. 
  3. Click on “JoinNow” to download the SecureW2 Wizard. asking to join now for wi-fi serviceapplication downloading screen
  4. Accept the download by clicking “Keep” and then “Open”. downloads pop-up asking to keep or delete filescreenshot of downloaded file
  5. Click on “Next” to continue. window saying application is launching
  6. Present your CSULB SSO credentials and confirm your MFA or enter the PIN. CSULB sign on pageenter password for single sign on
  7. Click on Done to complete the process. joining wi-fi screen
