Step by Step Onboarding for Chromebook

ATTENTION: The following Step by Step instructions are intended only to show some of the expected screenshots and steps done under certain conditions.  Certain steps may be out of date or reference features no longer available.  Feel free to leave Feedback.  Please use the SecureW2 link to automatically configure instead.

Instructions

  1. The SecureW2 instructions below can be used from any Internet connection.  On campus, temporarily connect to the BeachGuests network using the Passkey found by accessing https://csulb.edu/wifi.
  2. Click on the SecureW2 link.
  3. Install the SecureW2 Chrome Extension by clicking “Install”. Install chrome extension page

  5. Click on the first tab in the browser and click “Sign in”. sign-in option for wi-fi service

  7. Click “Download” to download the securew2.onc file. web page with download option 
  8. Navigate to the newly opened tab “Network” and click on “Import ONC File”.wi-fi network property page  
  9. Choose the file from your Downloads folder and click open. downloads folder 
  10. Click “Connect” to connect to eduroam. asking to join wi-fi network screen
